g2 was founded in 2004 on the view that contract recruitment for complex, project-driven industries needs more than CV matching. It needs compliance infrastructure, technical credibility and the ability to mobilise at scale. Lumicity is G2V's North American brand, in one of the world's largest and most competitive recruitment markets. Launched in 2016 in Los Angeles, it now has four offices, in LA, Chicago, Houston and Miami. Lumicity focuses on the technical disciplines driving American industry: Mechanical and Electrical Engineering, MedTech, Clean Energy, and Robotics and Automation. Permanent placement remains at the core of the business, while the contract division has expanded rapidly since 2022. In under a decade, Lumicity has expanded coast to coast, reflecting both the scale of the US market and the strength of its team.
